Our client is a global IT Services & Consulting organisation with offices in several countries and established presence in India. They are a household name in their sphere if business and continue to expand and grow their presence here.

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to drive automation, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD transformation across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud platforms, configuration management, and DevOps automation, with strong programming skills in Python. You will play a key role in designing scalable deployment pipelines, improving system reliability, and enabling faster software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

  • Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to improve operational efficiency.

  • Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

  • Configure and automate server provisioning and application deployment using Ansible.

  • Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to automate software delivery processes.

  • Troubleshoot deployment failures, infrastructure issues, and CI/CD pipeline bottlenecks.

  • Implement security best practices, access controls, and compliance within DevOps workflows.

  • Monitor application and infrastructure health, ensuring high availability and performance.

  • Optimize build, release, and deployment processes to improve speed and reliability.

  • Participate in architecture discussions and recommend DevOps best practices and automation strategies.

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.

  • Strong programming expertise in Python.

  • Extensive experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

  • Experience building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines.

  • Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and shell scripting.

  • Experience with Git and version control systems.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Knowledge of container orchestration and microservices deployment.

  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.

  • Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.

  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, security scanning, and vulnerability management.

  • Understanding of networking, load balancing, DNS, and cloud security concepts.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
