About the job

We are looking for a hands-on Java Tech Lead with strong AI tooling proficiency to lead full-stack development squads. The role combines deep Java and React expertise with cloud, DevOps, microservices, and an AI-first development approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-stack development using Java, Spring Boot, React, and related technologies.

  • Apply an AI-first development approach using GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools.

  • Design and build microservices and containerised applications using Kubernetes and Docker.

  •   Write complex SQL and manage transactional and NoSQL databases.

  • Apply Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming (OOA/OOD/OOP) principles across the codebase.

  • Work within Agile/DevOps environments and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

  •  Mentor team members on AI-assisted coding practices and engineering best practices.

  • Collaborate with technical, product, and business stakeholders on design and delivery.

  • Integrate solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 3+ years of full-stack development with Java, Spring Boot/JPA, JavaScript, React, Thymeleaf, REST and JSON.

  • 3+ years of containerisation and infrastructure experience with Kubernetes, Konvoy, Docker and GitHub.

  • 3+ years of database engineering with SQL, functions and stored procedures across Oracle, SQL Server and NoSQL databases.

  • 3+ years of strong OOA/OOD/OOP design experience.

  •   2+ years of DevOps and Agile delivery experience.

  • 2+ years of cloud exposure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Mandatory hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and/or Cursor.

  • Strong technical leadership, communication, mentoring and problem-solving skills.

Position Details

  • Experience: 9+ years preferred for the Tech Lead position.

  • Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad.

  • Notice Period: Maximum 30–45 days.

  • The candidate should be hands-on and have prior experience leading or mentoring technical teams.

AI-First Development Requirement

Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools is mandatory. Candidates may be practically evaluated on their use of GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools and their ability to apply AI effectively within software engineering workflows.
