About the job

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Flutter Developer with 5–10 years of software development experience, including 4+ years of hands-on Flutter development, to build high-performance, scalable, and visually appealing cross-platform mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Flutter, Dart, mobile architecture, API integration, state management, and application performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.

  • Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable code following clean architecture principles.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and Backend Developers to deliver high-quality applications.

  • Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.

  • Implement responsive UI components with pixel-perfect designs.

  • Optimize application performance, memory usage, and startup time.

  • Write unit tests, widget tests, and integration tests.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs and production issues.

  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior Flutter developers.

  • Ensure application security and follow mobile development best practices.

  • Publish and maintain applications on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

  • Stay updated with the latest Flutter releases and mobile development trends.

Required Skills

Must-Have Skills

  • 5–10 years of software development experience.

  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with Flutter.

  • Strong programming experience in Dart.

  • Experience developing applications for both Android and iOS.

  • Strong understanding of Flutter widgets, animations, navigation, and custom UI development.

  • Experience with State Management:

    • Provider

    • Riverpod

    • Bloc/Cubit

    • GetX (any one or more)

  • Experience integrating REST APIs and JSON parsing.

  • Knowledge of Firebase services:

    • Authentication

    • Firestore

    • Cloud Messaging (FCM)

    • Crashlytics

    • Analytics

  • Experience with local databases such as SQLite or Hive.

  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming (Future, Streams).

  • Experience with Git and version control.

  • Knowledge of mobile application architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture).

  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Knowledge of Fastlane, Codemagic, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise.

  • Experience with Push Notifications.

  • Experience working with WebSockets.

  • Familiarity with GraphQL.

  • Experience with native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift) is an advantage.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Equivalent practical experience is also considered.

Good to Have

  • Experience publishing apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

  • Experience with payment gateway integration.

  • Experience with Google Maps and location services.

  • Knowledge of app security and data encryption.

  • Exposure to AI-powered mobile features is an added advantage.
