Senior Development Engineer (10+ Years Experience)

Location: Pune, India

We are looking for an experienced Senior Development Engineer with over 10 years of expertise in modern web application development. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience in frontend technologies, particularly React, along with backend development capabilities in Node.js and Java.

This role requires a solid understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, RESTful services, CI/CD processes, and distributed application environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React and modern frontend frameworks.

  • Build and enhance backend services and APIs using Node.js and Java where required.

  • Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

  • Manage and optimize frontend build processes using tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm.

  • Integrate and consume RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, and backend teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application performance, scalability, and browser compatibility issues.

  • Implement coding best practices, design standards, accessibility guidelines, and maintainable architecture patterns.

  • Work within Unix/Linux environments and contribute to systems operating in distributed and cloud-based architectures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in web application and UI development.

  • Strong expertise in React and modern frontend development practices.

  • Proficiency in Node.js and Java development.

  • Extensive experience with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

  • Hands-on experience with frontend tooling and build systems including Webpack, Babel, and npm.

  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins-based deployment processes.

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and frontend-backend integration patterns.

  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and distributed application environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with UI automation frameworks such as Selenium or Python-based testing tools.

  • Knowledge of Micro Frontend architecture and implementation patterns.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and modern DevOps practices.

  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
